Mentorship-focused tap dance training at Fancy Footwork Dance Project

About Us

M'KAYLA KONGNETIMAN:
Tap Dance Educator & Choreographer in Calgary

I have been passionate about dance and music for as long as I can remember. One of my main objectives as a young artist and choreographer is showcasing the unity that rhythm & music can create, and to facilitate a safe learning environment for the discovery and exploration of and individual's intrinsic rhythm.

Many people relate rhythm & music to things such as instruments, singing & sheet music. But I believe rhythm and music live throughout all parts of the human experience — from the rhythm of your heartbeat to the pattern of your breathing, and movement.

Music lives in all of us and is presented in its own individual, unique way. It is something that I believe is a connection that everyone has and can be expressed in a way that others can connect with. I am excited for you to join me on this journey where self-discovery meets technique, and where every step leads you to a new level of connection and purpose.
